Then Selma posted her gorgeous one for the sample on Joan's Gardens challenge. Selma has instructions on how she did it on her blog here.

The image is from Theresa's set "Whimsical Spring" by Gina K. Designs. I colored it with Copic's and sponged around it with Memento.
Here is another view.

So I'm entering this in Brenda challenge on Stamp TV "Going Green" and Joan's challenge here are the requirements:
  • Use a recycled box, preferably round
  • Color theme can be your choice
  • Use some Lace
  • Use Pearls and Flowers
Well that is it for now , hope you have a good evening and thanks for stopping by.

Thinking of You!

Hi, my card here is for Cheri's challenge over at Stamp TV. She wanted us to make a card or project using Gina's "Dropped Shadow" technique. I made mine a little different instead of using a solid stamp, I used this Butterfly from Theresa's "Whimsical Spring" by Gina K. Designs. I actually made both butterflies out of it I just cut them in half. I liked how it looked so went with it. Like getting two for the price of one. Hee, hee.

I also used Theresa's "Little Critters" and the sentiment is from "Dogwood and Butterflies" by Gina K. Designs.
I sponged the background with Memento ink pads, the card stock is from GKD and the DP is Basic Grey. The butterflies were colored with Copic's.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

More Challenges

Hi, today I decided to try something new. I saw this over at SCS, how to make a word card. The tutorial is by Dina Kowal and Beate has a video. The words are a free print download. Not one of my better cards but I guess it's okay for my first try, I now know not to use really heavy CS. LOL
If you are wondering why the little flower looks like it is just stuck on the lower part of the I, I kinda cut in too far and popped the flower on to cover it up!! Better than just tossing the whole thing. Right!!

I used Theresa's Purr-fectly Delightful" for the kitty and "Dogwood and Butterfly" both sets are by Gina K. Designs.
Here is a closer look of the kitty. My DH and looked at some cats last week-end, I think we are about ready for one after the loss of our beloved cat.
Sorry this really looks better in RL but just couldn't get a good photo today.

Thanks for stopping by.

A Couple of Challenges

Hiya, Here is a card I made for my mom's birthday and for a couple of of challenges.
My mom loves flowers and plants and has a really green thumb, I didn't get that from her, so I will just have to color them on paper.
This week Brenda is hosting the "Free for All Friday Challenge" over at Stamp TV. Use a flower stamp and two different shapes on our card.
Also entering this in Joan's challenge over at Joan's Gardens. To make a standard size Birthday card with pink, green and some purple. Distressed edges and some piercing.

My piercing and distressing didn't show up very well, so here a closer view. Still didn't show that well, I guess it is the dark color against the lighter back ground.

The images is from Gina's stamp set "Seeds of Kindness" and the sentiment is from Theresa's set " Mountain Wilderness" both from Gina K. Designs.
I colored the image with Copic's, the DP and card stock is Gina K. Designs. The die are Spellbinders.
Hope your day is going well and thanks for stopping by.

The stamps I used are from Theresa's set "By The Sea" and Life is Good" both sets are Gina K. Designs.
The window die is "Grand Madison by Poppystamps. I received this as part of my recent win over at Joan's Gardens. I just love this die so many things I can do with and I have tons of ideas.

CSS Inspiration Challenge

Hi there! Hope you all are doing well. Sorry I haven't been around too much, I have reinjured my shoulder and having a hard time typing but I will get around to your blogs soon. It is feeling a lot better now and I finally think I know how I'm doing it!! I'm guilty of removing my bra while watching tv in the evening, by reaching behind my back and unhooking my bra. These old bones just don't bend like they once did!! Needless to say I won't be doing that any more!! This is for the inspiration challenge the CSS team did on Stamp TV.
This is the inspiration photo. The bottom right photo was the one I used for inspiration.

I tried to get a photo of it shook up but just not fast enough!! LOL

Here is what the back side of the snow globe looks like.

The stamps used:
Winter Friends, Holiday Basket and Celebrate the Season by Gina K. Designs.
The snow globe is from Michael's, I think it was $2 or $3 dollars.
Images were colored with Copic's.
