Hello! I'm back with a couple of cards I made for STAMPTV monday's challenge. This first one is this weeks challenge "To make a Sympathy Card" I used Gina K. Designs stamps "Stately Flowers 5" and "Elegant Florals".
I sponged in the background in Memento Grape ink likewise the sentiment and leaves. The Pasque flower is colored with Copic's.
This is a card I did for last weeks challenge at Stamptv. A Birthday card! For this one I used GKD stamps "Country Roads 2" for the flowers and sentiment. The Hummingbird is from "Stamper's Favorites". I colored the images with colored pencils.
Hope you are all doing great !! Back soon I hope with more cards.
I sure have missed all of you, my friends !!! I finally made another card after being away from it in what seems like forever. Theresa, my daughter got me so excited about her latest stamp set "Dashing"
that I decided to give it another go. She gave me a quick little class and I was hooked again.
I'm sharing with you my second card using the stamp set "Dashing" by Gina K. Designs.
Stamp set: "Dashing" GKD
Ink: GKD Pigment White and Memento Summer sky, Danube Blue and Nautical blue
Card stock: GKD
Marker: white chalk
Post-it notes, Zig glue pen, circle die.
Here is a little info on how I did the snow and the moon.
The moon was made with a template using the 1 5/8 die on the post-it note, I then sponged the moon
on my white card stock with Summer Sky and a almost dry dauber of Nautical blue, using very light pressure just to give it a hint of depth.
For the snow, I used the white chalk marker ( which had dried out from lack of use!) So I just would tap it in the GKD white pigment pad to add snow to the trees, banks and stars. I thought the snow needed to be a little darker in the shaded areas , so I used my dauber that I used with Summer Sky without reinking sponged over where I wanted the shade to be. I hope this is helpful.
Hope to be back with another card soon, as always, Geri
It's been awhile since I have made a card or posted anything. I got this gorgeous stamp set by Theresa Momber for Christmas and just had to give it a try. I have really missed this and all of you my friends.
Hope to be back to stamping more and visiting your blogs. The set is THE WETLANDS by Theresa Momber illustrator for Gina K. Designs at Stamp TV
I colored the duck with colored pencils and blended it out with OMS.
Stamps used are Repeat Impressions: "Wine" #9507 and "Cheers" #9509
"Palm Tree Silhouette" #2414 and "Follow..." #2808
"I Love Cats" #8213 and "Cat Beauty" 8205

Wendy, you are one of the sweetest, and most generous people we know.
As a 'boss', rarely do we find ourselves on a team that is more professionally run,
or more organized! You are so understanding of our personal issues, and it's a joy to work with you and your products!
We want to wish you a very Happy Birthday! We look up to, admire and respect you.
May your day today be filled with love and laughter!
And remember....the more candles you have, the bigger the wish you are allowed!
Sorry I haven't been posting any cards for the last few months due to having health issues. I have RA and it really has made it difficult to stamp. Hopefully I will be able to get back into the swing of card making real soon. I really miss it.

Hi there! I'm back with a new POTW atRepeat Impressions. For my project I made a gift card holder with a belly band.
Stamps: Repeat Impressions "Poinsettia"#2012-W and sentiment "Christmas" #1141-W (I inked up separately for a different look)
Embossing powder (clear)
Copics R27 and R37
The outside view with belly band.
Here is what the inside looks like.
I started out with some green card stock which I cut 61/4 by 51/2 and scored in half. Next I matted some designer paper to both inside panels of my card. Then using a piece of white card stock which I cut to 5 -1/8" by 3- 3/8",then score at 5/8" and 2-7/8". Next I stamped the poinsettia image three times using a mask with the VersaMark and black ink and then embossed it with clear embossing powder. Colored the Poinsettias with Copic's.
Using a circle punch about half way, punch out for the ease of sliding the card out.
Here on the small score side I added some score tape . After gluing the side together I then glued it to a slightly larger mat. I used removable tape to adhere it to the card ( so you can remove it off the card). For other inside of card I made the panels about the same size as the card holder, Added the sentiment and sponged around with Desert Sand.
To make the belly band, I cut out some white card stock 7 " long, and punched it out with MS punch on both sides and sponged it also. Added a piece of Washi tape and the Poinsettia image (love this image) cut and embossed. Score the sides and glue together the ends.
Slide in your card and close it with the belly band.
Great way to put a personal touch to a gift card. Hope you enjoyed my project and don't forget we have a DCC challenge on Wednesday, hope to see you there.
Hi there! Hope you are staying dry and warm! We have had a lot of rain this week, no snow YET! So far I'm not missing it at all. They are saying we may get some by Wednesday. Now about my card, I just love snowmen and this image is so adorable, I just had to play in this challenge thatArt Impressionsis having, "Feeling Frosty" challenge. The image is from Art Impressions "Warm Your Heart".
I colored the image with Copic's and fussy cut around him. The very background snow is Bic Wite-Out, Sizzix embossing folder and the larger snowflakes are some stickers I had.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping , I will be back tomorrow with my POTW for Repeat Impressions.
