Good afternoon, all week I have been going to make a card for this challenge. Finally got it done.

I decided to do a black and white card as I rarely make and not sure why because I really like them.

Christmas Holly

Hi, we are having a beautiful fall day here, it did drop down into the twenties last night. We are expecting rain tomorrow though. Yesterday, my DH and I spent most all day in the yard getting ready for winter.
Today I made a card for Cindy's color challenge over at stamp TV. I just love the challenges there.
The stamp set I used is Theresa Momber's " Very Merry Christmas" from Gina K. Designs.
In this challenge we are to use blue, green and yellow.
I used Gina K. pure luxury " All spruced Up and Sweet Corn.
Su Night of Navy
The button and the ribbon is from Gina K.
The DP is from Memory Box.
I used copic's for coloring and went over that with Sakura Glaze pen to give it a shine.

Hope your day is wonderful and thanks for coming by.

Embossed on Glass Ornaments

Hi, I'm back! I was going to spend today cleaning my stamping area and do some commenting. and if I had time maybe some house work!!
Didn't do any of that!! Noooooo, I played.
A few years ago my daughter Brenda showed me how to stamp on these ceramic ornaments. We spent a lot of time painting on them and they turned out very nice. I made a lot to give to friends.
I picked up some at Michaels the other day, they are $1.29 each. I embossed on them with super fine gold powder from Gina K.
You have to be careful, the glass does get a little hot.
The second photo from the top is a photo of whats on the back of each of the ornaments.
Supplies: embossing buddy, gold embossing powder, stones, and VersaMark
Stamps :
A Very Merry Christmas by Theresa Momber from Gina K.
"Holiday Cheer" stamp kit by Gina K.
"A Year of Flowers" by Melanie Muenchinger from Gina K.
A tip about this make sure to use plenty of the buddy because the powder really sticks to it.
Have a good day.

The Promise

Good morning! We have snow in the Trinity Alps and on Mount Shasta showing with a promise of things to come! Fall is in full swing! I love the beauty of it but dread the cold.
My card is for a stamp TV friend who's DH is really ill and needs encouragement. So with him in mind I made this card for the challenge Lee has for potluck Friday.
We are to use words only , no stamped images. I love this sentiment from Melanie's set "A Year of Leaves" and thought it would be perfect for my card.
I think the shiny paper is from Michaels called platinum. I stamped the sentiment and using a mask from Tim Holtz sponged with creamy caramel from SU. The DP is from memory box and the self stick brads are from Gina K.
The button is basic grey and some scape ribbon finished off my card.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

A Year of Leaves!

Good evening! Wow can you believe how fast this month went? This my final week with Melanie Muenchinger! I so enjoyed working with her and this fantastic set "A Year of Leaves" I'm kinda sad for it to be over. I still have lots of ideas for this set.

Some info on my cards starting with the top card.
No coloring on this card other I did some sponging around the top edges. The leaf is stamped on "All about Autumn" digital DP from Gina K. Designs. Then I cut it out, so easy. The punch is by Friskers and the card stock is from Gina K. pure luxury pumpkin spice and black and white. The ribbon is from a craft store in Oregon . Nestabilities and MS punch.

The bottom card is another wreath of acorns I did. I colored the acorns with copic's and cut them out.I made a ring of card stock and arranged the acorns around it. The cord is from Gina K. The card stock is Gina's digital "All bout Autumn" and SU. I added self adhesive pearls.
If you haven't been to Melanie's blog she has posted some more of my cards.
A huge thank you! Melanie!

Hi everyone! I'm so happy to be included in the showing of Melanie's new set "SCHOOL, SPORTS, SPIRIT! This wonderful set has lots of images and is a great companion to"Sporty Accessories" Which is what I did here in my cards.

Now with the jacket I stamped on a old pair of jeans, cut it out and went around the edges with Fray Check. I added some light blue for shading and then some self adhesive silver brads. The bag after I colored it, I made openings for the shoes.

All card stock is from Gina K.

The bottom card here is made using the same two sets . The skates and saying is from " School, Sports, Spirit"! Good morning, hope you all are having a great day. I'm so thrilled to be guest designer for Melanie Muenchinger illustrator for Gina K Designs. The card I'm showing here today is from her newest set "A Year of Leaves" I just love this set it can be used so many different ways. So I combined "A Year of Leaves" with a set by Gina K "Summer Harvest" I used the tomato from summer harvest and drew in a longer stem and the rest is from A year of leaves.

I could just that caterpillar eyeballing that tomato.

Hi everybody!
Did you get to Gina K Designs release party over at SCS forum. All the new wonderful sets! I must have them all!! The previews were just gorgeous! I was so excited to be able to preview Melanie Muenchinger's Gorgeous new set "A Year of Leaves".

So about my card , I wanted to make a philodendron plant and this is what I came up with. I colored the leaves with copic's , a light yellow is what I used here (Y11) then I went over it with a med. green leaving spots of yellow, then cut them out. To make the vase I used a oval nestablities and cut the top and the bottom off. The paper for it, is some glossy black card stock I have had for some time. The rest of the paper is all from Gina K Designs including her newest Pumpkin Spice.
I added some self adhesive brads and ribbon.
