Melanie Muenchinger's illustrator Hop

Hello! I was delighted when Melanie ask me if I would showcase one of her sets. I was her GD for " A Year of Leaves" and that is what I decide to showcase here today. I love this ! It is great staple to have on hand. It is so perfect to use with flowers that I keep some made up just to have on hand. Like the ones I have scattered at the bottom of the card. I used Copic's to color them using G07 and G14. The rose was made out of Cranberry tart PLCS by GKD and a punch. Let me know if you would like more info on making the flower, it's real easy. I curled the leaves gently around a pencil part way to give them more of a 3-D look..

My all time favorite set of Melanies is " A Year of Flowers" and I just could not resist doing a card using that set. I colored the rose with copics. The CS is Gina K. Designs and Basic Grey for the DP. I made the rose smaller by copying and reducing the image using my printer.

Tonight Melanie
Muenchinger
has several designing friends sharing samples they
created using some of their favorite sets from Melanie, take a look!

Love, Hope and Dream

Hello! My card today is for Brenda's inspiration challenge over at Stamp TV. I was inspired by the colors and the flowers. I used the rose ( one of my very favorite image) from Melanie Muenchinger set "A Year of Flowers" by Gina K. Designs. The image is colored with copic's. That beautiful DP is from Gina K. Designs as is the card stock. The punch is EK.

More rain for the next few days and then Summer!! Says our weatherman!! Hope you all have a fantastic weekend and thanks for stopping by.

Embossed on Glass Ornaments

Hi, I'm back! I was going to spend today cleaning my stamping area and do some commenting. and if I had time maybe some house work!!
Didn't do any of that!! Noooooo, I played.
A few years ago my daughter Brenda showed me how to stamp on these ceramic ornaments. We spent a lot of time painting on them and they turned out very nice. I made a lot to give to friends.
I picked up some at Michaels the other day, they are $1.29 each. I embossed on them with super fine gold powder from Gina K.
You have to be careful, the glass does get a little hot.
The second photo from the top is a photo of whats on the back of each of the ornaments.
Supplies: embossing buddy, gold embossing powder, stones, and VersaMark
Stamps :
A Very Merry Christmas by Theresa Momber from Gina K.
"Holiday Cheer" stamp kit by Gina K.
"A Year of Flowers" by Melanie Muenchinger from Gina K.
A tip about this make sure to use plenty of the buddy because the powder really sticks to it.
Have a good day.

Life

Good evening, I'm having so much fun being a guest designer for Melanie Muenchinger . I love showcasing this set "A Year of Leaves" . The sunflower in the top card is from Melanie's set " A Year of Flowers" and caterpillar and leaves are from "A Year of Leaves". The card just below it is the inside of the card. I love this wonderful sentiment from this set! You can find both sets available here.
