Hi! Today is very cold and been snowing a little all day!! Good day to STAMP!!! The card today is for two challenges. The inspiration challenge over on SCS and to make a winter or fall card over at Speedy's Friends challenge. I just love this technique Selma calls a snowy background. You can find her tutorial here.
The stamps for this card are from Mark's Finest Papers. "A Walk in the Woods". The card stock is MFP and DP is Basic Grey. The corner frame is Spellbinders.
I used Tim Holtz ink and can you believe it, no coloring!!!
Hope you are enjoying your week end and thanks for stopping by.

Gorgeous card Geri! I agree that snowy background is beautiful. Glad you are getting the snow up where you are. We had just a bit here on Thursday eve/Friday morn. I am so not ready for the cold.
breathtaking!!!!
Gorgeous card, Geri! Love the snowy scene and those corners are terrific!
Geri - this is stunning! Beautiful job!!!
This reminds me of what I saw this morning as daylight broke. The frost is heavy and it is like a light fog. A herd of deer were playing in the neighbors yard and you could see their breath.
Totally gorgeous, Geri!
What a masterpiece. Definitely deserves framing. Love the stamps you used to create this scene. So far no snow here and hope not for a while.

This is absolutely beautiful Geri! I think that's right where the snow should stay is on your card!

Mom this came out so beautiful!! You rocked this technique. Thank you for playing along with us this week at Speedy The Cat's Friends Challenge.
Okay, this is one of the most beautiful cards ever, and I do mean ever. I need to look at the technique!!!
I have to agree with Shirley... this card is one of the most beautiful cards EVER! What inks did you use for your project? Selma used several different green distressed inks... did you use gray or blue? The effect is spectacular!
