Speedy's Friends Challenge #36
We are starting off with a fabulous new challenge at Speedy's Friends, Laurie has ask us to make a card using something new.
For my card, I used the newly released set from Mark's Finest Papers "Hello Sunshine". The something new is the Fancy tag from shapeabilities by Spellbinders. I wanted a larger focal image, so I stamped the image and put it in my printer and copied it in a larger size, 50% larger. I then colored it with copic's and matted it with some Basic Grey DP. The CS is MFP.
Hope you can join us and Remember, for every 50 entries we get, there is a winner of a stamp set from MFP!! If you use MFP stamps, you are entered twice and you can enter more than once.
Happy day and thanks for stopping by.

A Cosy Winter Day
I made two cards this morning Yay!! Yesterday I received some stamps I ordered from Joan's Garden and just had to ink this one up, it so fit Joan's Garden #26 challenge. I couldn't help myself even though Joan used this stamp for her sample. The stamp set is" Cozy Winter Days" a preCut stamp by Heartfelt Creations. I used stickles and glitter for snow but it didn't show up very well.
Here are the requirements for the card:
1. Use some kind of snow or snow flakes
2. White is the color for the week, so make sure you have white on your card
3. Do some Chalking
4. Create some kind of a window look
Stamps: Cozy Winter Days by Heartfelt Creations and for the window I used" Hip to be Square" by Melanie Muenchinger. Sentiment is by Hero Arts.
Memento, stickles, glitter and copic's. I used chalks for the sky .
Hope your weekend is great and thanks for stopping by.

Speedy's Friends Challenge #33
Wow the weeks are flying by! Hope all is going well. Today Speedy's Friends bring you another challenge, this time Joanne G. has ask us to do some paper piecing on our card or project. Now I love to cut out stamped images so this was easy for me.
Now in my sample here I stamped the image twice and the colored one and on the other one colored just the butterfly and cut around his wings and added some glue to just one side of each side so his wings would flare out a bit. Unfortunately the photo didn't show that very well.
The stamp set used is the newly released set from MFP " Nature's Postage". The DP is Basic Grey and CS is MFP. The image was colored with copic's.
Hope you can join us and Remember, for every 50 entries we get there is a winner of a stamp set from MFP!! If you use MFP stamps, you are entered twice and you can enter more than once.
Hope you have a nice week end and thanks for stopping by.

Sketch Spotlight Callenge GKD
Pretty cool sketch, and it was very fast and easy. The last time I was in Michael's I picked up a card pack out of their dollar bin. It looked just like sweaters. I stamped my image on it and cut it out. While the ink was wet I used a q-tip to wipe out the snow flakes and then let it dry good before handling it. The beauty of this is, I have the envelopes that came with it!
The stamps I used are from Rupa Shevde's set " Warm and Wonderful" by Gina K. Designs.
I'm off to cook dinner, have a great week and stay warm!!!
