Speedy's Friends Challenge #48
Hi everybody, I really loved all the gorgeous cards you all made this week!!
Now for this week's challenge at Speedy's Friends, Joanne has ask us to make a card with dry and heat embossing and pop up part of image.
For my card I used the gorgeous stamp set "Just Dandy" by Mark's Finest Papers. I used a cuttlebug folder for my dry embossing and sponged some "Old Photo" ink by Tim Holtz. I made the background for my image using the sentiment from this set. Distressing the edges with some more T.H. ink. Then stamped my image with the same ink and versa mark and heat embossed with clear. I popped up my image with pop dots. All the supplies to make this card came from MFP.
I hope you get a chance to play along with us and you can find the info on this challenge here.
Have a great week end and thanks for stopping by.

Challenge Card and Some News.
Hi everybody, I got some exciting news, I have been featured on STV Talent Scout Gallery. It is where they feature your STV gallery on facebook!! Sure made my day!! That and sun is out!! Well for few minutes that is.
The card today is for the sketch challenge over at Stamp TV. I used the newly released set from Theresa Momber by Gina K. designs.
"Warm With Love" I love this fabulous set!!! Instead of blue ( which is what I usually do, I went with green hoping it would look more like a pond. Theresa has the reflection already in the stamp so all I did was run Copic markers back and forth over it leaving some of the white showing. The sentiment is Gina K. Designs " Framed Greetings". Card stock is GKD and the DP is Basic Grey.
For my sky I just sponged some Memento London Fog.
Huge thank you to Stamp TV for featuring my gallery on Facebook!!!
Hope your week is going well and thanks for stopping by.

FRIDAY, March 11, 2011-Fish You Were Here
I sponged my card with SU Bashful Blue. I stamped the fish twice, colored with copic's. and cut it out. On the other stamped fish I just colored the side fins and cut them out. I paper pieced them and used pop-ups for a more 3-D look.I used Desert Sand in Memento for the sea bottom. The coral is made from M.S. branch punch , trimmed to make it look like coral. The bubbles in this card I made using a template, I made with two different sized hole punches. I then sponged with Bashful blue and added a little white gel pen for highlights. The card stock is MFP. The images are clickable for a larger view.
This card is made using pretty much the same just a different look. The bubbles I think are called rain drops. The DP is Basic Grey and card stock is MFP. I used nestabilities for the circle and the shell. Cuttlebug folder is Tiny bubbles.

Thursday, February 10, 2011-Grandma's Boudoir
For my card I used Basic Grey DP. MFP card stock, using Tim Holtz mask I sponged on distress ink in Victorian Velvet and the Old Paper. The gorgeous lace and black ribbon is from Mark's Finest Papers. I left off the sentiment as I'm not sure who I'm sending it to.
For the tag I used a pre made tag from somewhere?? I don't even remember buying it!! After making the tag the same as the card above, I stamped the image and added C-1 in Copic's to enhance her hair. I used very little gold Smooch on the locket's trim. The punch is by M.S.
