Hi there! Here are a few photo's of the snow we got yesterday.
This is my DH shoveling snow.



This is on our balcony at night. Strange how the snow just draped on the railing.




Here it is this morning. The sun is shining and all is so pretty.


We lost our power yesterday for about twelve hours and what a pain that is!!

Speedy's Friends Challenge #44

Good morning!! This week's Speedy Friends challenge Joanne T. has ask us to use food of some kind on our cards or projects. I decided to use " Pears and Hollyhock" and "Blackberries, Sunflowers and Bees" by Mark's Finest Papers. On the pear I decided I wanted one that didn't have the flower in it, so I used a black marker to go around the image of what I wanted and then huffed before stamping the image. I colored it first with copic's and then used some Prisma pencils. The blackberries were colored with Copic's. The card stock is also by MFP.


Here is a close up. I was pleased with how this turned out. If you get a chance, check the rest of the team samples for even more inspiration.

Good morning! Hope your week is going well!. Sorry I have been a little quite here, I have had company. We had about 18 inches of snow this week and more is expected tonight! But I saw a robin out yesterday and that's a good sign!! LOL
Today I have two cards I did for challenges. This first one is for the sketch challenge at SCS. I used Theresa Momber's new stamp set " Little Critters" by Gina K. Designs. I love this cute set so easy to color, I colored with Copic's. Used Basic Grey and GKD papers.



This card was for the sketch challenge at STV . I used Asela's Hopkins set " Winter Wings" by Gina K. Designs. I colored the image in Prisma Pencils, sponged with mementos, Basic Grey DP and GKD cardstock.

Speedy's Friends Challenge #43

Hi friends, today Speedy's Friends challenge was a challenge for me, I love to color and spend a great amount of time doing it! That might why it takes me so long to make a card!!! It might be why I don't hardly make CAS cards, just don't know when to stop!! LOL.
Joanne G. wants us to make a Black and White and one other color plus paper piercing. I used Mark's Finest Papers newly released set " Big Cats". The card stock is by MFP, Aqua, black and white. I used Prisma pencils for the eyes and some shading on the Tiger.

CSS Alumni Feb. Treasure Chest Hop

Hi everyone!!
Welcome to CSS TREASUE CHEST HOP!!! For this hop we are using animals in our card. You should have come here from the very talented DEB FELTS. I decided to use Theresa Mombers newest stamp set "Little Critters" by Gina K. Designs.
The images were colored with Copic's. Cardstock is GKD." Tan Leather, Sweet Corn". DP is Basic Grey. To make the ground I tore a strip off of the Tan Leather, it makes the perfect ground!!

Little Critters Release

Hi, hope you all are doing well. Today I have a card sample of the stamp set being released tonight illustrated by Theresa Momber "Little Critters" by Gina K. Designs. You are going to love this adorable set.


I though I would share with you how I did this really simple background. I found this sky pattern paper in some papers I've had for a long time but I think it is still around. I glued it on to my base. I colored all images with Copic's and cut them out, but the sky is light enough that you could stamp the image right on the BG. I made another bank cutting it in the shape I wanted. After deciding where I wanted the banks, glued them with Adhesive.
Then using a copic marker (B34) I drew in the horzion . Adding some lines and around the banks to make it look like water. I attached the frog to bank with adesive on bottom and pop-dots on the top part of the frog and the mushroom. Hope that makes sense as I'm not good at explaining things. I left off a sentiment, so I can add one later.

SCS Challenge Cards

Good Morning!!! I have a couple of cards that I made for somes challenges over at SCS last week and didn't get a chance to post them on my blog. Yesterday I played around a little with redecorating my blog I took the image from this top card and used it for my header, I wanted it larger at the top but couldn't figure that out. Changed the background too. What do you think? Is it too dark? Let me know what you think, as I think it may be.
For this card I used the newly released stamp set " Big Cats" by Mark's Finest Papers. I used Copic's for the eyes and Prisma Pencils for the rest.



This card was for the way's to use it challenge at SCS last week. It's a Pop-Up slider card. First time making this but after making it, I look forward to doing another. This stamp set is also newly released from Theresa Momber "Dino-mite" by Gina K. Designs. The images were colored with Copic's.

Birthday Bunny

Hi all, I made this card today for a couple of challenges. I just love this bunny from "In The Forest" by Mark's Finest Papers. I decided to add a little color to him this time. I used Prisma Pencils, the card stock is MFP and DP is Basic Grey.
The birthday sentiment is MFP " Daffodil and Anise".

Here is my card samples using "BIG CATS". I used Prisma Pencils to color this image. DP and Card stock is MFP.

I made this set for keeping passwords in. I used Copic's and P. Pencils. I rolled a small bit of DP to slide inside of the matching pen.
