Hi friends!! A Valentine's day card is what Vicki's asking us to make for this weeks challenge at Speedy's Friends. That's a pretty easy one. For my card I went with a non traditional colored card. The stamps used in my card is "Stinky Situation" by Mark's Finest Papers. The images were colored with copic's. The DP is by M.S. and the card stock is by Mark's Finest Papers. If you have not tried any their papers , I need to tell you she has awesome card stock and a wide assortment of colors and weights. I also used nestabilities heart die .

"Valerie's Gift" Hop!

Speedy's Friends Challenge #39

Hi , boy this week flew by and now it's time for another challenge at Speedy's Friends. This week Joanne wants us to make a Sympathy card. I cased a card I made recently made for a friend.
The stamps I used " Natures Postage and the sentiment is from "A Walk in the Woods" both are from Mark's Finest Papers". I colored with copic's and the card stock is from MFP.

A Few Challenge Cards

Hi, I thought I would share a few cards I made this for some challenges. This first is for today's challenge over at SCS " Ways to Use it". To make a card using Gradient Stamping. For mine I made the panel using the sunray technique changing it to a quilt pattern. I used Memento's in browns and pinks for it. The image is the newly released stamp set from Mark's Finest Papers, " Sew What? ". CS is MFP and the DP is Basic Grey.



This is for the sketch challenge over at STV. I used Theresa Momber's newly released set " Dino-mite" by Gina K. Designs. I love this fun set!! I also used Theresa's set " Aloha " by GKD. I created the circle background with masking and sponging and copic's. I stamped, reversed the image of the trees and cut them out. The dino image is colored with copic's and I added colored stone for the flower. CS is GKD and the DP is Basic Grey. Hummmm I could have called this a time tunnel, LOL. Anyway I had fun making this , where should she go next? Paris??



For my last card, the challenge is from SCS last weeks challenge Ways to Use It. To have butterflies on our card. I used the stamp set " Daffodil and Anise" by MFP. Colored the butterflies with Copic's, CS is MFP. I loved the colors in this.

OBG Blog Hop

Hello! We Design Divas are having our very first hop!! OBG ( oldie but goodie ) Blog Hop!
We are making cards or projects using something we bought or got and haven't used in six months or longer. Well this was not hard for me, being a spender not a do'er. The cards I did for this were stamps that I haven't used. This rose stamp I have never used ( not sure why it's a beautiful stamp). The stamp is by PSX.

The beautifully drawn image in this card is by Asela Hopkins " Friendship's Garden" by GKD. I forgot how much I liked this stamp set.I choose not use a sentiment in my cards that way I can add them later as I left room to do so.


Supplies used in the top card: I used used both copic's and Prisma pencil for the image. The card stock is by GKD. Ribbon is from my stash.
The bottom card: Was colored with Copic's. Dp is by Theresa Momber, digi paper is available at GKD. Card stock, pearls and ribbon is GKD.

Mark's Finest Papers- Floral Tea

Hello, I am not in the hop today, but am posting to my blog to show you the card I made from today's featured release " Floral Tea" My card, along with some of the other designers, is on the main blog post where you also will find the list of the design team members in today's hop. I've provided the list below in case you want to join in the hop.


The images from " Floral Tea" was colored with both Copic's and Prisma pencils. DP is Basic Grey and CS is by MFP. I cut off two of the cups from the stack of four. I used gold Smooch around the edges of the cups. All supplies used to make this card can be purchased at MFP.

My images were colored with Copic's, the card stock is by MFP and the DP is Basic Grey. The ribbon was some I had left over from last year, I think I got it at Joanne's. This is a really fun set and can't wait to try different cards with it.

After thinking about this bunny in that basket yesterday, I decided to play along with the sketch challenge over at SCS and try it out. I colored the bunny with Prisma Pencils .The basket weave stamp is also by MFP " Background Fun", I colored it with Copic's.

WEDNESDAY, January 12, 2011- Happy Pansies



I stamped the pansies in corresponding ink colors ( purple in purple ink and the yellow ones in a green ink as the yellow didn't show up enough.) Always fun to try something new. The pansies were colored with copic's
I used MS punch and cuttlebug die. the basket I made using MFP " Background Fun" colored it with copic's and then cut out the shape I wanted and outlined it in black ink. I'm thinking that adorable bunny that comes with " In the Forest" would look good in the basket too!. What do you think?

TUESDAY Jauary 11, 2011- In the Forest


My image was colored with Prisma pencils, I then followed a faux tile tutorial by Michele to create the window. The Frame is made using neastabilities and made the curtains out of some ribbon. The card stock is by MFP and DP is Basic Grey.

Another Dino-mite Card

Hi all! I have spent my day just playing around with my stamps!! Just having the best time!! Now I have to stop, DH wants a haircut then it's the the dinner thing!!
My card here is for two challenges.
The color challenge over at STAMP TV and JUST US GIRLS challenge, to make a card with matching envelope.







The stamp set is the just released by Theresa Momber " Dino-mite" by Gina K. Designs.

Speedy's Friends Challenge #36

Welcome to a new Challenge at Speedy's Friends! This week it's embossing on your card. For my card I embossed the sentiment using Versamark and black ink by memento, clear embossing powder and heat set it. I also used a Cuttlebug folder in the layer behind the image. Good evening!! I'm so excited to GD for Theresa's new set being released tonight!!
"DINO-MITE" Illustrated by Theresa Momber and produced by Gina K. Designs. I love this cute, adorable set!!




Here is a Kleenex box cover, you just pop it over a Kleenex box. I have been wanting to make one of these for awhile and here is where I found the info on making them. Very easy

A Card For A Gift

Top of the morning to ya! The sun is out!!!! Cold but at least it is bright!!!
I'm excited to show you this card, I made for the sketch challenge over at Stamp TV. The images are Melanie's Muenchinger's " Buds and Vases" from the set I won last month and Gina K. Designs " Signs of Autumn". I tried to match "My Gift for You" it is suppose to look like a jar of caramel dipping sauce.
