Hello! I had the most wonderful day today, my DH and I went to Redding to do a little shopping and have some lunch at the Red Lobster. The sun was out and it was just beautiful. Redding a lot lower than we are and I saw signs of spring!!!!!!!!! Yes buds and blooms on some trees!! Just made my day.
I have a challenge card to show you. It is for the challenge Gina K. is having to find a new Center Stage Design Team Member for a month.
We are to make a card using one of the new release stamp sets and use two colors from her list. We can enter more than once but have to use a different set for each.
The stamp set I used is "Hang in There" by Theresa Momber and I also used a stamp set "Special Delivery Addition" by Tami Mayberry to frame my images. The two colors I used are Lemon Drop and Creme de Menthe. All stamps and card stock used in this is from Gina K. Designs.
Card details:
Stamps: Hang in There and Special Delivery Addition
Card Stock: Gina K. Black and white
Patterned paper: Basic Grey
Ink: Memento black
Accessories: Punch, copic's and scrap ribbon

Spotlighting and Blast from the Past
Hello! Today I have a couple of cards to show. This first one is for Selma's Blast from the Past challenge to do a card with spotlighting that Gina's has the video for this on the sidebar at StampTV . This is really a fun challenge and easy to do.
This is Selma's final week of hosting the Bast from the Past challenge and she did an outstanding job every week with fun challenges.
For my card I used Theresa Momber stamp set "Hang in There" from Gina K Designs. I pretty much followed Gina's tutorial . The card stock is Gina K., DP is Basic Grey, copic's and nestabilities.
This card is from last week challenge to paper piece. The stamp set is Rupa Shevde's "Hometweet Home" Again I went along with Gina's tutorial for the making of the card. I colored the flowering branch with copic's the birdhouse is pieced with the DP freebie that Gina has. The bird pieces are also card stock from Gina K. The DP in the matting is from wings of hope by Theresa Momber.
I would like to thank Selma for asking me to make samples for her in her challenges and all her beautiful cards you can find here.
Thanks for stopping by.

Jumping for Gold!
Hi all! I'm back again with another card from Theresa's set "Hang in There" I'm really loving this set!! I keep coming up with all these new ideas!! LOL.
The color challenge at SCS today is an Olympic challenge, where you choose your own event based on the colors of the Olympic rings. I did no. 2, two colors and a neutral, plus a dessert metal color such as gold, silver, bronze you get the picture. My colors are green and blue and Ivory. Dessert color Gold.
First I used Ivory from Gina K Designs in 120lb. weight and nestabilities to cut and emboss with labels large rectangle. On a seperate 120 lb card stock I stamped and colored the image using greens and some blue in copic's and then cut out the image and leaving off the tree. I then glued the image (frog) to the edge of the opening along the embossed edge. You can click on the card for a larger image I hope.
The stamps I used are Theresa Momber's stamp set "Hang in There" and Gina's "Inside and Out" both sets are available at Gina K Designs. Card stock is Gina's pure luxury 120 lb in Ivory and her gold. The inks are memento in black and bamboo leaves. Hope you can tell how this card was made I'm not so good at taking photo's inside and out. Anyway the sentiment is stamped on the cut out piece that I embossed. Then matted on gold. I attached it so when the card is closed it fits right in.
I decided to do the frog because I watched the Olympics last night and they were doing the ski jumping, my word they sure do jump a long ways!! Amazing!! I think tonight is the woman's ice skating.
Have a good day! P.S. You know that sun I told you about yesterday? It's gone and now it is snowing!!

Hope is Faith Blog Hop
Good evening! I was so excited about this stamp set by Gina K Designs not only is it a beautiful set but also Gina is donating $2.00 from each set sold to the People of Haiti! Also Theresa Momber designed some digital DP to go with this set. Gina is donating 25% of the sell of this for the month of Feburary also. I love this set and it's cause is needed. Every little bit helps.
Feelings of Hope
Gina challenged the CenterStage Spotlight team to make a card with the new Hope is Faith stamp set using the photo above for inspiration. Check out Gina's blog for all the details on this special stamp set.
In both of my cards I use the butterfly and sentiment that comes in the " Hope is Faith" stamp set as my inspiration and as well the flowers. I'm so ready for spring!!
My first card here I used Theresa Momber's stamp set "Purrr-fectly Delightful" from Gina K Designs for the flowers. The card stock is Gina's also. You can click on the photo's for a larger view of my cards
This card is a single layer card I used Gina's Pure Luxury 120lb in white, which is perfect for coloring with copic's and it does not bleed through. The flowers in this card is by Gina K. " Signs of Autumn"
This is what the inside looks like. The butterfly is perfect for doing this style of card, the image is the same on on either side so it easy to use a reverse image. I use the stamp-a-ma-jig to position the image.
Then, stop by these designer's participating in the hop tonight

Best Friends
Hello! I have another quick post. Yesterday I received this cute, cute digital image after I entered my card in the challenge at CLEARLY DELIGHTFUL BLOG. I just love this little duck and seeing Selma's cards I was so inspired I had to make a card using the cute image. Thank you so much for this image Laurie!
The Dp and card stock is from my scrap pile and the ribbon is from Michael's. I colored the ducks with copic's using only two colors Y21 and YR14. The sponging is SU pretty and pink and So Saffron.
If you want to try the challenge you still have time, info can be found here.
Also on Thursday I will be in the hop for Hope is Faith. Throughout the month of February, $2.00 from every sale of the Hope is Faith stamp set will be donated to the Red Cross to help with the work they are doing to help the people in Haiti.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

Moonstruck!
Hi , hope thing are good for you all. My card here is for Selma's Blast from the Past challenge over at Stamp TV. In this challenge we are to do the woodgraining technique from Gina's tutorial on Stamp TV. I love this technique it fun to do and lots of ways to use it. I did think of using Melanie's window and make window planks to frame it, that would be cool. I ended up doing the fence, I cut around some to make it look old. I used SU cardstock Going Grey with white and black ink. The stamps I used Melanie Muenchinger's set "Cuddles and Hugs" and Tami's Mayberry's set "Happy Hearts". Colored with copic's and I did some sponging and masking.
On a personal note, I haven't been around this week due to the loss of my beloved cat, who has been my Constance companion for the last 16 years and my heart is broken. I hope to start catching up on my favorite blogs in the next few days and see what wonderful creations my friends have came up with.

Pop-Up Oven Card
Hello, I wanted to do this card ever since I got this digital template from Gina K. Designs. Melanie Muenchinger designed this downloadable template in Perfect Patterns "Pop-up Oven" This first photo here is the front of the card. All the images are from Melanie's stamp set " Have a cookie" from Gina K. Designs.
All the card stock is from Gina K. I created the upper portion by using the cuttlebugged waxpaper technique. Then used creamy caramel to color it. Copics to color the images. The bottom DP is from my stash of assorted papers.
Now for the inside, I used "Have a cookie ", Rupa Shevde " King of the Grill" and I made the towel out of Rupa's set "Warm and Wonderful" scarf. The clock is something I have had from who knows. The template for the oven is available at Gina K. Designs as well as all the stamps used in this project. I cropped the floor a bit in editing to fit better for viewing.
Have a great day!

Wax Paper!
Hi, hope you all are keeping warm! I keep making cards in warm colors, makes me feel warm just looking at them.LOL
Selma at Stamp TV has another Blast from the past challenge and want a fun one this is, you will love it!! It is called Cuttlebugged waxpaper and Gina has the video for it here.
I used Gina's new stamp set from her kit called "Picture it!" for the moth or is it a butterfly not sure. The rose is from Melanie Muenchinger's "A Year of Flowers" and the saying is from Gina's set "Eclectic Summer Sayings"
All card stock is from Gina K. Designs, the cuttlebug folder ( sorry not sure of the name). I used memento ink Desert Sand and then at the top I added a little cantaoupe and on the bottom a little New Sprout.
I had such a good time making this that I made another card using the same technique almost done and will post it tomorrow.
Another thing I wanted to tell you is that Melanie is having a little challenge over at her blog to use her famous set "A Year of Flowers" for a chance to win her next set and a chance to be her GD for March! So my card here is for that challenge too!
Thanks for stopping by.
