Theresa Momber: Life is Good

Good evening! I have some more cards using "Life is Good" stamp set from Gina K. Designs and illustrator Theresa Momber.
In this first card I used two of Theresa's sets "Happy Camper" the mountains in the back of cabin and "Life is good".

The card here I sponged the sky using SU So Saffron and Creamy Carmel.
The card stock is from Gina K. Designs and the DP is from my stash.
In this card I used "Life is Good" and Melanie Muenchinger's "Hip to be Square" for the window. Both set are available at Gina K. Designs.

The green misty card is sponged on Gina K. pure luxury card stock. I just sponged a darker green around to give it a misty look.
The sentiment I used is "Very Merry Christmas"
another set by Theresa. I made this card just before Christmas and didn't get to post it.

Tonight Theresa is featuring her guest designer Miss Boo (a.k.a. Jen 70) Jenny is a fantastic card maker and artist. She also is wonderful at making CAS cards. For more inspiration using Theresa's "Life is Good" check out Jenny's and Theresa blog.

Thanks for stopping in and have a wonderful night.

Life is Good!

Hello! I'm so excited , my daughter Theresa Momber has ask the very talented fabulous Jenny Charboneau ( Miss Boo) and I to be her guest designer for the month, showcasing her wonderful new set "Life is Good" from Gina K. Designs
Theresa is featuring me on her blog tonight and Miss Boo has created something wonderful for you to see. Be sure to check it out!

One of the things I like best about this new set is that it's versatility with all the details in the stamp it self, so very little coloring is needed to make your card look like a work of art! It also is fantastic without any coloring.
Here is my first project, a Christmas card box. Gina has a challenge over at Stamp TV to make a seasonal box.
I used copic's to color the image and nestabilities. I sponged around it using SU Creamy Carmel. Card stock is All Spruced Up by Gina k. and DP is from Me and my big ideas. The ribbon from my stash. The box holds about twelve 41/4 by 51/2 size cards.

Here, I made some masculine bookmarks. Using the elk from "Life is Good"

This is how the inside looks and the back.

I designed the bookmarks after a bookmark I've had around for a long time and I really like but it was a little small. I made this 2 3/4 x 4 1/2, rounded the corners , stamped the Elk in memento black. I added magnets and covered it with some DP I have had around. The card stock is from Gina K. " Tan Leather".

Theresa has my other card featured on her blog. I'm heading over to Miss Boo's blog to see what she has created for us, won't you join me.

Thanks for stopping by.

Blast from the Past Glitter Challenge!

Hello! I have a new card for Selma's blast from the past challenge over at Stamp TV. We are to use colored glitter on our card. Gina has a tutorial video on it here.

Here is a closeup.

I usually have to be careful around glitter as I get carried away and get it everywhere. But after watching Gina's video I seem to have better control!! Some of the supplies I used are : The owl is from Asela Hopkins set " Framed Friends" and Gina's "Holiday Hospitality" for the sentiment. Glitter, quickie glue and the dp background is " Me and my big ideas". Image was colored with copic's.
Thanks for stopping in and have a good weekend.

Life is Good Blog Hop!

Hello! Tonight we are sharing projects using Theresa Momber's beautiful new set "Life is Good" from Gina K. Designs.
This is a fantastic set and I love it!

For this card I used two of the images from "Life is Good" and the mountain image from "Happy Camper" another set by Theresa Momber. I sponged the sky and used copic's. All card stock is Gina K.

On this card I used that wonderful train, from "Life is Good" The train is fantastic as a stand alone image or you don't have to color it at all. I also used Nina Brackets set " Vintage Borders" as the back drop for the train. The holly and senitment is " Very Merry Christmas" by Theresa Momber.

On my last project I made a shade for my Luminary from Febreze. I just took apart the shade that came with it to use as a template. Very easy! I stamped the elk on some vellum , used nestabilities for the ovals. The snowflakes are from Theresa's " Very Merry Christmas" I stamped them using versa mark, sponged on SU bashful blue . This can be put over a flameless candle and if anyone wants the measurements just let me know. I used the scor-pal and scor-pal tape.

Christmas cards

The ornament and ornament card I made last year. I made the ornament and attached a magnet to the back. I made the card and under the flap is another magnet. So it can be used as an ornament in your tree.

Card stock is from Gina K and I used silver embossing Powder.

Tonight is the blog hop for Theresa's set " Life is Good" starts at 10:00P.M. CST. Hope you can join us in the fun and see all the beautiful cards.

Blast from the Past Challenge

Hello, I have another challenge card to share with you, this is for Selma's "Blast from the Past" Friday's challenge over at Stamp TV. Selma has selected a video from Gina's tutorial archives called partial embossing using the cuttlebug.

The card I made here is from Theresa Momber's newly released set called " Life is Good" from Gina K. designs. Wait tell you see this wonderful new set, I love it!! She put in the water reflections so all I did was color it then added a little white gel pen and thats it!

If you click on the image you may or may not get a larger view. The image was colored with prisma pencils and OMS. I also used cuttlebug folder and nestabilities and the ribbon is from Gina K. Be sure to check out Selma and Brenda's wonderful samples for this challenge at Stamp TV.

Presents under the Tree

Good afternoon, wow I can't believe almost a week has gone by without posting a card. I can't seem to catch up. So little time , so much to do but soon the holidays will be over. LOL
This card is for a friend and also a challenge card.
Shannon over at stamp TV, color challenge is to use red, green and gold on our card.

I used Theresa Momber's set "Very Merry Christmas" by Gina K. Designs. The image is colored with copic's and cut out. I used Gina's Pure Luxury card stock "Good as Gold" and white. and the DP is K and Company. The ribbon is from Gina's assortment pack and I used nestabilities for the oval.
I kept this fairly CAS for the ease of mailing it.

Nestabilities petite oval small.
Copic's YG63,G07,G28,R27
Gold gel pen
The gifts under the tree I cut out of some DP I've had around for some time but the colors were perfect.
Did any of you get to see the Gina K previews this week? Fantastic!!! I told myself I would be good this month!! Now, I'm thinking I should buy myself a Christmas present!! Right?
Tomorrow night is Gina K new release and can't wait!!

Hope your day is good and thanks for stopping in.
