Tis the Night Before...........

Good evening! Everyone ready for Thanksgiving? I will spend most of my time tomorrow cooking pies. I have a new card to show you made from a digital image designed by Nina May over at" There's Magic in the Air". I decided to download the image and take the challenge. Use the image and use something fuzzy on my card.
I used Fun Flock by Stampendous for my something fuzzy , on the moose tail, his hair and on the Santa hat.
Isn't this just the cutest? I first saw this over at Selma's blog, last week when she had the cutest penguin card.

Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgivings. I will be back here on Friday evening to show you something else. Thanks for stopping by.

Members Blog Hop

Good morning! Welcome to my blog as we have our first members blog hop! I love Christmas and love Christmas stamps. The illustrators at Gina K Designs sure came out with some wonderful sets! I love them all!!
By now a lot of you know I love to combine these sets. In the top card I used Rupa Shevde new set "Winter Friends" an older set of her's " The Magic of Christmas" and Melanie Muenchinger's newest set " Festive Frame" for the sentiment. I used bashful blue to sponge in the background embossed with Vivid! in brick. Colored with copic's. The DP is Basic grey. I also used liquid applique, pop-dots, and punched out ghost snowflakes by daughter Brenda sent to me. I meant to put the gifts behind her but in my rush to finish I forgot! lol Next time I will.

In the next card, I also used Rupa's set " Winter Friends", Melanie's " Festive Frame" and also used other Gina K set " Autumn Beauty " by Theresa Momber. I just had to put that bird on that mailbox! All images were embossed with white EP, on Gina K pure luxury card stock Cranberry tart. and white. The DP is Basic Grey. ribbon is from Gina's .
Most of the supplies and all stamps were purchased at Gina K. Designs and are available.

Thanks for joining in the hop and be sure to check out the other blogs for some super wonderful cards! Here is the link to Gina's blog.

A Green Christmas Card

Good morning! Hope you are all well!
I did this card yesterday for a challenge over at stamp TV. Cindy is hosting the Monday color challenge this week. The colors we are to use are Ivory and (you guessed it!) green. I went with Theresa Momber's wonderful set " Very Merry Christmas" and Nina Brackett's " Vintage Borders" both are available from Gina K. Designs.
I colored the bells with copic's and went over the ribbon with a clear Glaze pen from Sakura , to give the ribbon a little shine. ( which didn't show up in the photo).
I stamped the images in vintage green by Vivid and the card stock is Gina K. The DP is SU and I colored the pearls with copic's.
That is pretty much how I did this card. Hope you have, a great day!!

A Female Cardinal

Good morning! I did this card last night for the color challenge at stamp TV, hosted by Karen.
We are to use Ivory, champagne (Lt. gold) and burgundy.
I used Asela Hopkins set " First Christmas" from Gina K Designs.
I used Gina Pure Luxury card stock Cranberry Tart, Good as Gold and Pure Ivory.
I colored the image in Prisma colored pencils, added some ribbon.
I did a female cardinal instead of the red male, share the glory kind of thing! This is my version of the female and I think she is just as pretty as the male.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.
