A Year of Leaves!
Good evening! Wow can you believe how fast this month went? This my final week with Melanie Muenchinger! I so enjoyed working with her and this fantastic set "A Year of Leaves" I'm kinda sad for it to be over. I still have lots of ideas for this set.
Some info on my cards starting with the top card.
No coloring on this card other I did some sponging around the top edges. The leaf is stamped on "All about Autumn" digital DP from Gina K. Designs. Then I cut it out, so easy. The punch is by Friskers and the card stock is from Gina K. pure luxury pumpkin spice and black and white. The ribbon is from a craft store in Oregon . Nestabilities and MS punch.
The bottom card is another wreath of acorns I did. I colored the acorns with copic's and cut them out.I made a ring of card stock and arranged the acorns around it. The cord is from Gina K. The card stock is Gina's digital "All bout Autumn" and SU. I added self adhesive pearls.
If you haven't been to Melanie's blog she has posted some more of my cards.
A huge thank you! Melanie!
Thanks for visiting my blog and do come on back.

Caterpillars and Butterflies
Here is another card showcasing Melanie Muenchinger's new set " A Year of Leaves" . I love this verse about caterpillars and butterflies, it has a lot of meaning. I added the butterflies from Gina K. set "Take Flight" and I wanted smaller so I reduced the size in my scanner to 50% . I colored them and cut them out. I sponged on moonlit fog for the leaves and then stamped them.
If you didn't come here by way of Melanie's blog , you can see another card I made that she has posted on her blog using this same set " A Year of Leaves. I have more from this set coming soon.

Chocolate kiss
Green apple
Moonlit fog
Other items I used are
Digital paper " All about Autumn"- Gina K
Nestabilities
Copic's
I hope your day is going well for you and thanks for stopping by.

Blog Hop for School, Sports, Spirit!
Hi everyone! I'm so happy to be included in the showing of Melanie's new set "SCHOOL, SPORTS, SPIRIT! This wonderful set has lots of images and is a great companion to"Sporty Accessories" Which is what I did here in my cards.
In the top card I wanted a football theme so I used the jacket, bag and shoes from School, Sports, Spirit! The football is from Sporty Accessories. Now with the jacket I stamped on a old pair of jeans, cut it out and went around the edges with Fray Check. I added some light blue for shading and then some self adhesive silver brads. The bag after I colored it, I made openings for the shoes.
Copic's
nestabilities
DP is from Gina K.
All card stock is from Gina K.
The bottom card here is made using the same two sets . The skates and saying is from " School, Sports, Spirit"! The rest are from " Sporty Accessories" I knew as soon as I saw this set I wanted to make something with those skates. Now if I can find those pictures I have of us trying to ice skate!! I will make a scrapbook page. Gina is have a challenge over at Stamp TV to make a card and a page using the same stamp set. I'm halfway there. LOL

Yum! Tomato
Good morning, hope you all are having a great day. I'm so thrilled to be guest designer for Melanie Muenchinger illustrator for Gina K Designs. The card I'm showing here today is from her newest set "A Year of Leaves" I just love this set it can be used so many different ways. It is just the perfect set to use with other sets to change a look and give more uses to your set. My card is an example of this. So I combined "A Year of Leaves" with a set by Gina K "Summer Harvest" I used the tomato from summer harvest and drew in a longer stem and the rest is from A year of leaves.
I colored with copic's and embossed the caterpillar and used stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp the leaf right over the caterpillar, I then colored and cut out the leaf.
I could just that caterpillar eyeballing that tomato.
Supplies:
copics
self adhesive pearls
ribbon
DP is Basic Grey-June Bug.
Cardstock is rocket red from Gina K Designs.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you come back again.
