Repeat Impressions POTW

Stamping On Designer Paper

Hi there!  I'm back with another "Project of the week" for Repeat Impressions. This time I thought I would share how I stamp on designer papers. I like doing this when using any glass or see thru images. The first photo is the finished card.

I started out using "Wine Time"  by Repeat Impressions. Stamped the image with black Memento ink on this great Designer Paper and then colored it using Copic's .

Then I added a little grey along the sides of the glasses, stem, bottom and under the images to set them down. I then added a few strokes of white marker for the reflections.

This photo shows the image colored except the wine bottle label, it doesn't  show up very well on the dark background, so I stamped the image again on white card stock. I colored the little image and sponged a little with Desert Sand Memento ink, then cut the label out and glued it to the bottle.

Here is a close up photo of the finished image.

Supplies used:
Images: Repeat Impressions "Wine For Two" #9507, "Friends &Wine" #9515
Designer Paper: Paper House- at the Vineyard a 6x6 paper pad
Copic's: R37, W3, W1 and N0
Recollections white marker
Memento Desert Sand and black
GKD card stock
Prisma pencils: olive green and tuscan red
sponge

Now if only we were wherever this is!! Thanks for stopping by and stay tuned for another DCC challenge on Wednesday July 2 at The House That Stamps Built.
Thanks for stopping by.

CONTAIN YOURSELF! REPEAT IMPRESSIONS NEW STAMPS

HI THERE!

I'm so excited to share with you the release of Repeat Impressions new stamp set "Contain Yourself".  It's a fun set with a lot of possibilities.

WOULD YOU LIKE TO WIN THE Contain Yourself UNMOUNTED SET?

You can have as many as NINE chances to win, you will receive one chance per blog that you comment on. So what that means is comment on one blog and you will earn one chance. Comment on 3 blogs and earn 3 chances and so on. Comment on each of the blogs and The House That Stamps Built blog and you would have collected a total of nine chances....hey, that is pretty good odds!

You will need to have your comments in by no later than Sunday, June 29th. The blog candy for the hop is… a unmounted sheet (complete set) of all the new stamps in the Contain Yourself series. Winner will be announced on Monday, June 30th.

Here is a couple of samples of fun ways to use these stamps. The first card I used "Fish Bowl" #9712, "Fish Face" #9716, "Plant" #9718 and "Happy Frog" #9724.
All are available here at Repeat Impressions.
I colored the frog and fish bowl and fish with Copics, stamped the plant in Memento Olive Grove, stamping once and then  again without inking up stamped right behind the first one.  Then I cut out the frog and the fish bowl and attached the frog to the top of the bowl using a  Zig pen glue.

For this card I used "Jar" #9705, "Flowers" #9706 and "A Happy Hello" #9717

Here is the line up of the teams blogs, hope you check them out as they sure did some awesome cards for your inspiration.

SWEETEST FLOWERS!

Hi there! It's hot outside today, so I stayed in and played. I had picked up a couple set of Spectrum Noir
markers and wanted to try them out. Not giving up my Copic's (to much invested there) but  doesn't hurt to have more. right?? Most of my images are colored with Copic's and one of the flowers with SN. Can you tell which?? The answer is later in this post.

My card is for the challenge over at Stamp TV. Tricia is hosting this weeks challenge and the challenge is to pop up those flowers!
I used Melanie's stamp set "Stampers Favorite's" by Gina K. Designs. After coloring the images I cut them out and attached them to die cut panel by Spellbinders, Labels twenty-five. Sponged with GKD Powder Blue. The DP is also by GKD. Popped up with Pop- dots.

And the answer is the purple flower is colored with SN.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

DCC CHALLENGE AT REPEAT IMPRESSIONS

Hi there! Hope you are all doing well and in mood for a fun challenge. Karen is hosting this weeks challenge and has ask us to make a shaped or fun fold card, sound like fun? Hope you can join us as we would love to see your creations. You can find all the info at Repeat Impressions blog The House That Stamps Built.

Before I get to the details of my card I want to announce the winner of my blog candy. the "OUTWEST" stamp set goes to Verna Angerhofer , congratulations Verna, send me your address (will not be published) and I will send that right out to you. Thanks to all of you who participated it is appreciated.

For my card card I used Repeat Impressions stamp image "Beer Mug" # 9602 and the sentiment is " This Bud" #9603 both are from the Bottoms Up series. The beer mug image measures about 3" by 21/2" and I thought it would make a perfect gift tag (maybe on a six pack) for a guy would be a great gift. Sorry not shown.
I wanted the fold on the handles instead of the top so I stamped the image on the back side of a plastic sheet then quickly flipped it over on to my card stock rubbing it so that all the ink would transfer. Colored the image with Copic's, then cut it out.
Sorry for the lame photo, anyway the sentiment is on the inside and says "This Buds For You".

Here is another view.

Be sure to check out the most awesome cards ever from the rest of the team.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.
