A Gift from Selma

Hi all! A few weeks ago my friend Selma gave me a gift card from My Time Made Easy. I wanted to share with you, one of the wonderful templates I got. This is called Under Cover from MTME. A really easy project to make, I did this one for Easter. The flowers is a stamp set from Theresa Momber's "Purrr-fectly Delightful" by Gina K. designs. I colored the flowers with copic's and the card stock is from Gina K. Designs. DP is from by stash. I also did this for "Just Us Girls" challenge, to use a template from MTME. There is still time to play in this challenge and free template if you don't have one.

This how it looks open

Thank you Selma for such a thoughtful gift!! For a treat check out her wonderful blog!!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

Spring Flowers

Hello! Looks like we are in for another big storm, raining and blowing all day and the weatherman says snow by tomorrow night.
Melanie Muenchinger is doing a scrap card challenge, make a card from the scraps on your table! Wow this was right up my ally. I have scraps everywhere!!! The wheelbarrel is image I had already stamped and colored a few weeks ago, I had this idea to put Easter eggs in it, but I didn't have any eggs the right size. I cut a slit in the wheel barrel. I colored and cut the flowers out and slide them into the slit. The card stock is left over for the card I made a couple of days ago and the DP was a mistake and I had cut the wrong size!!!!! Anyway that's my story. I used Vicki sketch challenge for the layout and will enter it in hers as well.

So be sure to check out Melanie's challenge. It was fun. Also, Vicki's challenge at Stamp TV.
Stamps: Flowers are from Theresa Momber's newest set "Sending Sunshine" and the wheel barrel is from Theresa's "Autumn Beauty" both are by Gina K.Designs.
Card stock is Gina K.
Colors are copic's and pencils.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

Some ChallengeCards

Hello! I hope you all are doing wonderful! I have two cards to show you. Both are for challenges over at Stamp TV. This first one is for Vicki's sketch challenge. The stamp set is from Theresa Momber newest stamp set"Sending Sunshine" by Gina K. Designs. I love this beautiful set, it has a lot of images and I specially love this little deer. I colored the deer with prisma pencils. The DP is D'eja Views and the card stock is Gina K. Designs. I also used Labels 8 nestabilities. White gel pen and some ribbon from Gina K.

This card is for Tina's color challenge and here again I'm using Theresa's new set "Sending Sunshine". I feel a lot of cards coming from this set! I also have fell in love with the easel cards.
The images were colored with prisma pencils. The card stock is from Gina K. Designs. The DP is some stuff I have had for some time and don't have a brand for it. I used a row of self adhesive pearls to hold the front of card up. This is the front view.

Here is how, it looks opened.

Wishing you Happiness!!

Hello!! I'm still here and I got my order yesterday and so excited! I don't know which stamp to do first! Oh, but I will just have to struggle through it!! LOL
My card is for two different challenges. Sharri at Stamp TV has a challenge to sew on our card. Not my best sewing . The stamp set I used for the image is from Gina K. Designs. "Basket of Happiness" I love this set, it was the first stamp set I won from Gina K. Designs on Stamp TV. A year ago!! The card stock is from Gina K. and DP is Basic Grey. Nestabilities Label 8. I colored the image with prisma pencils.

The other challenge is a sketch from CPS. Some of Gina K. illustrators are sponsoring this one and a chance to win some Gina K. stamp set.
Hope your week is going well!! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Bunny Cupcake from TMITA

Hello! I'm back at after a few days off, I got to spend some time with my Grandson.
My card today is for the challenge that Kim McDonald has over at There's Magic in the Air. She would like to see you use the "Bunny Cupcake" image by Paper Cupcakes and to make any "non-traditional" style card (e.g., free standing pop up, joy fold, tri-shutter, etc) Split Coast Stampers is a good place to see different styles of cards. The image designed by Nina May. She has some adorable images, last time was the cutest duck!
I decided to make a Easel card, I have been seeing a lot of them and thought to give it a try. I found the tutorial on the SCS, the link is above.

The card stock is by Gina K. Designs, copic's for my coloring and DP is by Basic Grey. On the inside of my card I used a sentiment from TCP (Easter Greetings). Sorry I don't have the name of the stamp set. I also used some ribbon, nestabilities and MS punch.

Tonight is the RELEASE PARTY at STAMP TV from 7 to 10 EST. Hope to see you all there!
Thanks for stopping by.

Hang in There Little Buddie!

Hello! How's everybody??? I have a card for Vicki's sketch challenge over at STV. Oh, this was a great sketch to do. I used Theresa Momber's new set "Hang in There!" from Gina K. Designs.
It was okay to flip the sketch so I flipped it up.
I used copic's to color the image and memento for the sponging. (London Fog, canaloupe and new sprout. The DP is from Michaels and card stock is Gina K. Designs. The little frog is a punch, I have had this for years. I punched him out on Creme de menthe and colored him with a green marker. I then put little black dots on his back, any frog would be proud of!!

Here is a closeup and you click on the card for an even larger view.

We are having leftovers for dinner tonight so more stamping time for me, Yippie!

Spring Floral Challenge Card

Good morning!! Snowing hard here this morning and wet snow, so I'm getting this posted before we lose our power.
This card is another for Gina's challenge. You can find details about her challenge on her blog. I used Gina's set "Spring Floral" for my main image and Gina's stamp set "Inside and Out" for the sentiment. Both sets are absolutely gorgeous and compliment each other beautifully! The two colors I used for the challenge are Creme de Menthe and Lovely Lavender from Gina's Pure luxury card stock.

Here is a different view

The inside view. I just love the sentiment in this set, it came free with the purchase of three stamp sets!

Card Details:
All stamps, card stock, ribbon are from Gina K. Designs
accessories: Cuttlebug folder and copic's
Card stock: Lovely Lavender, Kraft, black, Creme de Menthe and white.
I also lightly sponged a little Lavender Lace over the embossed card stock.

Have a wonderful day and thank you for stopping by.

Crossed Stitched 3-D Bear

Hello! Hope you are all doing wonderful and getting time with your stamps!!
The card I have here is another one for the challenge tryout for to be a Guest Designer for a month, the details are on Gina's blog. The colors I used are Lemon Drop and Creme de Menthe.
The stamp set I used is by Rupa Shevde "Oh Baby!" from Gina K. Designs. This is just an adorable set perfect for the new baby. The bear image I did a 3-d look by stamping the image twice, coloring the image. I cut out the feet and attached it using pop-dot, to give the 3-D effect.
I used some floss and crossed stitched around the opening. I haven't done cross stitching for a long time but I love that look on baby things.

Here is a closeup of the bear.

Card Details:
Stamps: Oh Baby!
ink: Memento black
Card stock: Gina K. Pure Luxury
Patterned paper: M.S.
Accessories: copic's, floss, nestablilties and ribbon
I may be back with another card for this challenge.

Hope your week is fantastic and thank you for stopping by.
