Clouds, Clouds, Clouds!! Challenge at Stamp TV

Hi there! I've been recovering from a bad cold and finally feeling better and ready to play with my stamps. Stamp TV has a fun challenge that's right up my ally. The challenge is to make a card using clouds.  You find the challenge here.

I started off by sponging the clouds with Bashful blue by SU, leaving a lot of white areas. Then made some stencils on post it notes. Then using Prisma pencils to add areas of darker blues and grey. Finished off the clouds by adding some white to the tops of some of the clouds.

I then sponged in the lower background with Memento Cantaloupe and Toffee Crunch. After that I stamped in the weeds? I used my stamp-a-ma-jig to connect the barbwire across the card. I stamped the birds in Black Memento and add white dots for the eyes with my white marker.
The stamps used and card stock are by Gina K. Designs.
"Out West 2" and "Birds & Blossoms" both are illustrated by Theresa Momber.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

Crazy Cat Lady!

Hi there!  I got this really cute stamp set at Micheals the other day and just had to play!! I love cats and cat images. My card is for the challenge # 139 at Art Impressions to make a card using a doily. My doily is a sticker by MS, using it as a rug on my easel card. The inside I stamped " Cat Hair is just part of the House Decor" now isn't that the truth! The wall paper in the back is by MME and I used one of cats in the image to make a picture in a frame for the wall. The stamp set is Art Impressions " Crazy Cat Lady" colored with Copic's.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

Hi there!
Time for Repeat Impressions "What If Wednesday" sketch challenge! Every other week Repeat Impressions has a sketch challenge and we would love to have you join us, all the info on playing along can be found at Repeat Impressions blog The House That Stamps Built. This great sketch was provided by Wendy. Thanks Wendy!!

For my card I used the jar from the newly released stamp series Contain Yourself, such a fun jar you can fill with all kinds of stuff. In this case I made this a jar of apple cider and as a after thought added a basket of apples not thinking about the size difference but all I can say is that we like a lot of apple cider!! lol
Anyway the image is "Jar" #9705 and "Apple Basket" #512. I colored the images with Copic's and the ribbon is a MB die.

Be sure to check out what wonderful creations the rest of the team has to share.
