Blog Hop/Card Drive For Lauryn!

Isn't this little girl just precious? Let me introduce you....
Lauryn was diagnosed with Leukemia on March 27, 2014. She is currently hospitalized in the DC area undergoing chemotherapy to fight this terrible disease.  Lauryn is Linda Payne's granddaughter...many of you in the stamping community probably already know sweet Linda!

As news of Lauryn's illness spread via social media, many of you have asked if there is anything you can do to help, so we have come up with a plan. We decided to have a Card Drive and would like to invite YOU to help by sending "happy mail" to Lauryn and her family.

Please create cards to share your love and encouragement for Lauryn and her family. Lauryn's parents are Josh and Elizabeth and she has two older siblings: Lily and Logan. We thank the Lord for this dear family and need to pray for them as they are seeking to glorify the Lord throughout this trial.

Cards can be mailed to:

Children's National
Hematology/Oncology RM 437
Lauryn Newsome
111 Michigan Ave NW
Washington DC 20010

You can find updates on Lauryn via a Facebook page that has been set up by some family. It is Fight on Little Lauryn. They have shared how encouraging it is receive a simple "like" on a Facebook status or words of love and encouragement that is posted.
Here is the fabulous group of bloggers who have joined us in promoting this Card Drive. We would love for you to hop with us as numerous bloggers have blog candy and all you need to do is leave a comment…

Here is a card I'm sending for Lauryn, I used a new stamp set to me Inky Antic's " Bug Eyed". I colored the image with Copic's, The DP and Card stock by Gina K. Designs and the dies are Spellbinders. Included in this cards is lots and lots of prayers for this sweet little girl and her sweet family!!

Enjoy the hop.

What a super sweet and cute card you created for Lauryn. I have to get my thinking cap on now and create a fun and joyful card too that will bring her lots of smiles. Thanks for taking part and for the inspiration I got from hopping to all the places today. Well, time to get at that project for Lauryn now. You have a good day!

What a sweet and adorable card. I love the you colored up this cute little Praying Mantis, which is also the perfect little bug for this card. I have not seen one of those in a long time, but used to love finding them out in my backyard as a child.

Special thanks too for being part of this very Special Card Drive and Blog Hope.

We are all praying for Lauryn and I know she and her family will be very touched by your kindness and your talent!

Your card is just so so so cute!! Lauryn is going to love the eyeballs and that cutie Praying Mantis too! I really like the edge part too!

Duh Me here, I checked everybody’s link but mine. It is wrong on everyone’s blog. It is showing as:

http://cardartetc.blgospot.com/ and you get:
“Sorry, the page you were looking for in this blog does not exist.”

The correct link is:

Hugs and thanks for your help with this, Geri. :-)
