January Project For Repeat Impressions

Hi there! I'm back with a new project for Repeat Impressions. A few years ago I made some luminaries using the flame-less lights. I thought I would show you a sample of one.
My first view is showing the shade on a Febreze Air Freshener light.

This is standing alone with a flame-less light.

Here is what it looks like without a light. These fold up flat for easy storage and is fun to make for all the seasons.

Supplies needed to make this are:
Two pieces of card stock 6 1/2 inches X 4 inches.
Score each at 6 inches and at 3 inches. That will leave a 1/2 inch tab for gluing together.
You will need a two pieces of Vellum 4 inches X 2 3/4 inches.
I stamped my sentiment on the Vellum with black Versafine pigment ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Next I used Spellbinders nestabilities circle on each end, Then glue the vellum in place. I made the frame using Spellbinders scallope  and circle dies and glued them on. Next stamped two swan images, colored and cut out the swan images. Gluing  them in place. Next I added scor Tape to the tabs, attach to each straight side.
Finished size is 4 inches high and 3 inches wide square. Not suitable to use with real candles . use only flame-less lights.
Supplies used are:
Repeat Impressions images " Swan Love" #4321 and the sentiment  "Love Much…" #3110.
Spellbinders circles and scalloped circles
Copic makers.
Vellum, scor tape and card stock
Flame-less lights.
I thought this also would look nice with a heart die instead of the circle.

Hope you liked my project and if you have any questions about this, leave a comment and I will be happy to answer them.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

Here I stamped off two different stamp squares colored them with Copic's and glued them down on a piece of white CS. Then on a piece of embossed orange CS.

In this card I used a Spellbinders lattice die in Navy blue on baby blue CS. I colored the image in Copic's and heat embossed in clear.

What If Wednesday Sketch Challenge

Hi there! We have a new Sketch Challenge to share with you today at Repeat Impressions. Here’s Wendy's latest design. We would love to have you join us and you may even win a prize, all the info can be found at RI blog The House That Stamps Built.

I made a doggie treat bag for my sample. I got this bag maker by We R memory keepers for Christmas and been wanting to try it out. After making the bag I punched out the oval using Spellbinders. Made the doggie treats using a recipe (see below) from Theresa Momber. The adorable dog image is by Repeat Impressions"Wagging Pup" #8106. I used Spellbinders Font one, lowercase and uppercase for the sentiment.

Here is another view.

The team has some amazing samples to inspire you.

Peanut Butter Dog Treats

2/3 cup peanut butter
2 TBS oil
1/4 to 1/2 cups water
1/4 cup wheat germ (optional)
2 TBS sugar (optional)
2 cups Wheat Flour

Preheat oven to 375 F. Mix peanut butter, oil and 1/4 cup of the water, until smoth. Mix dry ingredients together and then add to peanut butter mixture , in additions. Add more of the water if needed to make into a dough.

Roll out to a 1/4 inch thickness and cut into your favorite shapes, using cookie cutters. Bake 20 minutes at 375. When done, turn off oven and leave cookies in the oven to "dry them out" as much as possible before sealing them up. They burn very easily, especially if you have rolled them out thinner than 1/4

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day.
