CSS Alumni -GKD

Hi there! welcome to the CSS Alumni Gina K. Design blog hop for October. This month is a sketch challenge is provided by Melissa Cash. Now you should have come here from the talented Cheri's blog.

Now my first card I used Theresa Momber's fabulous stamp set " Under The Sea" by Gina K. Designs, Theresa has some awesome tutorials  on using her stamps. You can find them here
The stamps, card stock and ribbon is by Gina K. Designs. The images were colored with Copic's and I used a Versamarker and clear embossing  on the shell of the turtles and cut them out. The DP is B0-Bunny. The sponging is with Memento. I also used a white gel pen and some pop-dots.

Here is a close-up of the turtle shell.

I love Melanie Muenchinger's Stately flower sets, so easy to color and great for any occasion. The images in this set by Melanie is " Stately Flowers 4" by Gina K. Designs as is the card stock and ribbon. I colored the image with Copic's.  The die is Spellbinder's and I sponged it with Memento's.
Here is a closeup of the flowers.

Now do I have you in the mood to spend some time on the warm sands of a tropical island ? I say that as we are getting our first snow flakes this year.

Make sure to leave a comment as you hop along because on Tuesday morning (October 30), we will randomly choose one of the comments from all the blogs and that person will receive a huge grab bag of fabulous Gina K. Designs Stamps!

The next stop along the way is the super talented Joy, she will inspire us for sure. Hope you can join us in this fun hop and if you would like to start at the beginning, you can find it here at Stamp TV.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day

Both very pretty. I am partial to the second one as hibiscus are my favorite flower. I was a travel agent and every trip I took to the Caribbean, I would come home with tons of pics of them. Brings back happy memories

Under the Sea brings back wonderful memories of my Disney cruise this past April. One of the dinner theme nights had videos on the walls that looks just like this turtle. Will definitely make this card for the grandkids that went with me on the cruise to keep as a wonderful memory. Thanks for the great card and idea....Judy NYC
