MFP October Release Day 2

Welcome to day two of Mark's Finest Papers October stamp release. The samples I have here today is from the newly released set "Greetings of the Season. This set is gorgeous and perfect for the upcoming holidays ( yikes, did I just say that!!!). For my first card I did a traditional red Cardinal. The birds were colored with prisma pencils and the rest with copic's. The ribbon and card stock is from MFP and the DP is from my leftover stash, I think it is from SU.

I just couldn't pass up doing the female Cardinal, I think she is every bit as pretty as the male!!

Here is a view of the inside of the top card.

Be sure to check out the other team members samples. For your chance to win BLOG CANDY, (a set that will be released NEXT month), visit and comment on each of the following design team members' blogs TODAY. On Saturday, (October 16, 2010), a winner will be chosen from those participants who visited all the blogs listed for today. (There will be four different winners, one winner for each day of the blog hop. You DO NOT have to comment every day. However, the more days you comment, the more chances you have to win!) If you miss a day, you can go back and comment on each day's blogs, as the winners will be chosen Saturday morning!

You got me at PLAID! The cardinal just pops off that plaid background on your first card -- a beauty. And the CAS look of the pinecone card is touched off nicely with that strip of plaid. I don't do CAS often, but I may have to CASE that one!

Yippee! Happy to see you stamping again! Hope you are feeling much better. Your cards are so pretty! The cardinal is our state bird, so I'm a bit partial to cardinal cards! Beautifully done, my friend! Have a great Wednesday...

Wow, both are gorgeous! Love the oval in front of the pendant die cut. I think I'm partial to female cardinal.
