Lasting Memories

Happy weekend!!! I have a new card to show you from the new set Theresa Momber has at Gina K. Designs, it's called "Timeless Treasures". It's Gorgeous!
The designer paper is Basic Grey and the images are colored with copic's. I used a gold pen by Marvy and self adhesive brads. This is my first try at distressing. I sponged with SU Creamy Carmel. The ribbon is from Gina K. Designs.

Sweet for you

Good evening! I think we need chocolate!!!!! I thought that all the time I worked on this card.
I made this for two challenges over at stamptv, the sketch challenge hosted by Sue Tillymint and Brenda Turner hosting potluck Friday. I used Rupa Shevde set "100% Sweet" from Gina K. Designs. I colored the image with copic's and nestabilities to make the circle.

Ahoy Mate

Hi you all , hope you are doing something fun!! Here is a new card I have been playing around with this all day or so it seems. Cat did a tutorial on how to have a blank area embossed with a cuttlebug folder. This is one of the ones I did . This is for the challenge over at SCS "Ways to use it" W228, we are to use a charm on our card. I used Rupa's "Guiding Light" from Gina K. Designs . The boat is colored with copics as well the anchor which I scanned and reduced the size to 50%. Then I cut it out and using glossy accents to adhered to Tim Holz's clear tags.

Birthday Hugs

Hi everybody! I got 4 new stamp sets on Monday and been busy inking up!! The stamp set I used is by Melanie Muenchinger called "Cuddles and Hugs" from Gina K. Designs. I stamped the image , colored it with copics and cut it out. I used the cuttle bug folder on certainly celery cardstock and cut out the circle using nestabilities then I swiped celery ink pad over the
branches. My attempt at making bamboo - I used copic Yg03 on white paper and then cut it out. The sentiment is unknown.

Finding Peace

Another hot one folks! It is so hot in Redding Ca. they have set up cooling stations. I hope if it's hot where your at that you are able to keep cool! I have a new card to show you, I cased a card of Theresa's . I just loved this card and decided to make my own. The stamp set is from Theresa'a "Happy Camper" and Gina's "Winter Foliage" both are available at Gina K. Designs.
You can see Theresa's card here, which she also has tips on some ways to use her set.
My card is sponged with So Saffron and Creamy Carmel, I then stamped the foliage (Gina's) with black memento and a little sponging of green on the branches. I stamped the lantern and sign , colored and cut them out.. The layering paper is from Gina's free digital paper "The great outdoors". I rounded the corners and added self adhesive nail heads.
The things I changed on my card is I used a different stamp ( the sign instead of the tent) changed the layering and added nail nail heads.

Fishing buddies

Good afternoon! Well it is plenty hot here today! So I'm spending the day in my stamping area and this is a card for a challenge at Stamptv hosted by Lee. A boy card with no pink or bling. This was really a fun challenge. I used three different stamp sets for this one. Theresa Momber's Happy Camper", Asela Hopkins's "The Journey" and Rupa Shevde's "King of the Grill" all are from Gina K. Designs. I masked off the woman and stamped the little boy and stamped another one to cut out. I colored them with copic's The boys are from Asla's set, the sign, sentiment and fish are from Theresa's set and the fishing pole are from Rupa's. The base of the card is Sand from Gina K. the DP is Lime Ricky from Basic Grey. I used nestablitilies for the main image on Gina's 80 lb. white.

Porcelain balloons

Good afternoon! Hope you all are having a good one. My here is for another challenge over at stamptv, Jessica is hosting the sketch challenge this week. The stamps I used are from Gina K. Designs " Eclectic Summer" which is a great set because it has 8 different type images. The paper is from Basic Grey "porcelain paper pad". The base paper is close to cocoa from SU. No coloring on this one. Have a good one.

Silver Framed

Here I'am again, can you tell I really like this set? This is for another challenge over at Splitcoast CAS23. I stamped the image on shimmery paper from The paper co. Iced white. I used Versa mark and silver embossing powder. Then colored with copic's. Stamp-a-ma-jig to place the sentiment.

How many bugs in my card?


Good afternoon! I have another challenge card to show you, the one on top is the front of the card and the one under is the inside. This is for potluck Friday challenge hosted by Melanie on Stamptv and was this a fun one. We were to stamp our image and color it on DP. I choose Nina Brackett's "Bug me anytime" from Gina K. Designs. The DP is Sugared by Basic Grey and I used a stamp-a-ma-jig to place my bugs on the paper and colored them with copics. I also stamps the tulips and the leaves and cut them out. The tulips are popped up on dimensionals.
The copics I used are R20,YG95, YR24 and E09. So did you find all my bugs?

Wishing you joy

Good afternoon! Hope you are enjoying the weekend. I have a new card to show it is for Gina's challenge over at Stamptv, called Poppin Pastels. I used versa mark to stamp the image and then using a sponge to pick up the color and dab it on the image I stamped. I then sponged some around the image also. The stamp set are "Many Wishes" and "Ribbon Stripes" both by Gina K. Designs.
I also used some self adhesive dots, ribbon and some DP I got at Michaels.

All my love

Hello, I got this for my birthday and had to try it out. The stamp set is Melanie Muenchinger's "Arranged with love" I colored the image with LuminArte'. Silver embossed the image and the dragonfly is a punch. The color challenge is to use colors from our yard. I cut out a part of the image. Hope you like it!!

My old friend

Hi, everyone I have a new post and I didn't mean for it to be so big I just get carried away, like I was supposed to have gone to the store and the bank !!! But there's still time! The stamps I used are from Gina K. Designs," Tree Silhouettes" and " The Journey".The pick-up is colored with copic's and cut out.I used a mask in the background and sponged the sky and the foreground. Then stamped the tree's in black memento ink. The dp is Basic grey. Off to thew store. Have a great day.

Elegant Flowers Resist

Good afternoon, I tried a new technique today it's called Crayon resist. Gina from from Stamptv has this on her new tutorial, it's pretty cool. I used "Elegant Flowers" by Gina K. Designs. A white crayon, black StazOn ink. I sponged pretty and pink and certainly celery by SU.
If you notice I now have a watermark on my card My daughter Theresa helped me with this.

Catch of the day


Hi, Hope you all had a great and safe 4th of July weedend. I had a great time with all of my family here which makes it the best!! I'm still having fun with Theresa's set "Happy Camper" and combined it with Rupa's set "Guiding light" both are from Gina K. Designs. I colored the images with copic's and the image is cut out using nestabilities and embossed and sponged without removing the nestie. Gina has a great tutorial on using this methed on Stamptv.
The paper is some of Gina's free download paper called "The great outdoors" The two I used are strawmat and tarp. Gorgeous paper. I also got the netting from Gina's. Thank you all for the very nice comments!!! They mean a lot! Thanks for stopping in.

Camping

Hi everybody! Hope you are having a great day and have fun plans for the 4th. My girls are coming up and that's a great day for me!!
I made this card using two sets Theresa's "Happy Camper" and Asela Hopkins "The Journey" both are from Gina K. Designs.
I used copic's to color the images and I sponged the sky and the foreground. The paper is from Gina K. Designs , I just got this new sand color and it's really nice my photo didn't do it justice as it is getting late in the day. It really does look better in person. Happy 4th!!

Eat dessert first!

Good afternoon! Cat over at Stamptv is hosting this sketch challenge. The ice cream cone is from the free download templates Gina has under the freebies. The DP is also from Gina K. Designs it came in the showtime stamp kit. But I think you can get them separate now. I colored the cone with copics and then cut it out. The stamp set I used is from Rupa Shevde 100% sweet. This is a really cute set. Real easy card!!
