A Spring Birthday

Hello, We are having a beautiful spring day! Finally! Still getting down in the twenties at night here but today seems like a turnaround day. I'm ready for it!! Now on to my card : The stamp set is Flourishes " Home Tweet Home", the paper I used is su bashful blue, black and white. I first stamped the image and colored it with copics. next using versa mark pen went over the image and embossed it with clear. using a mask I made out of typing paper, I tore it into the shape of mountains I sponged bashful blue for the sky, lavender lace for the mountains and certainly celery and wild wasabi for the foreground. I used a little white gel pen on the the mountains.
Copics I used are: R02, E00,E31, E25, YG14,and YR24.
I want to welcome 2 more followers to my blog, Sharri and Sharri Seffans, WELCOME! I love having you.
Hope you like my card and have a wonderful weekend! Geri

lovely card and great coloring Geri! Thanks for the comment on my blog about the binder organization - YES that is a standard 1" 3 ring binder from Staples. Nothing fancy but I probably should have gotten the 1-1/2 inch since it's filling up quickly :-) I want to make a similar set up for all my GINA K stuff too. Happy weekend.

This is so pretty Geri. I love how you created the scene behind the bird.

Wow I am so glad you dropped by my blog cuz now I have found yours. This is beautiful card, I can't believe you managed to create those wonderful proper rocky looking mountains with just ink, sponges and masking - they look amazing, I must give that a try - usually I settle for the more "rolling hills" type of look!
